My name is Beth, and I enjoy crafting, cooking, painting, photography, and writing--a list of interests which led me to begin blogging! I am originally from sweet home Alabama U.S.A., but I moved to England in 2008 when I married my husband, Jim. In 2010, we moved into a big, farm house in the countryside.
Our family of two grew for the first time in 2008 when we got Murphy, our energetic Springer Spaniel. Then, in June 2012, we became parents to a handsome little boy--Elijah. My
first and foremost purpose is to be a good wife and mother, and to live
a life that brings glory to God. I don't always get this right! (In
fact, I probably get it wrong most of the time....thank the Lord for
GRACE!)
Jim and I are doing our best to be good stewards of the gifts God has given us. We are so blessed to live in this old house (some parts date back to the 13th century!) with lots of character. We are trying to bring out the character of the house, while also bringing it into the 21st century. Our goal is to make this big, old house a warm, welcoming home where people feel blessed and loved. So.... won't you come in? :-)
